Aruba is a country in the Caribbean Islands and to this day part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The country is a real tourist gem with the charm of the beach and sea. However, plastic pollution is still a problem that the country must face.

A: A few weeks after their departure, the aruba team started their research on single use plastic ban in the island.

Impact of single-use plastic ban: 


The largest landfills in the world are far from our eyes.

 

Many countries started to take an action and single use plastic ban is one of a key measure in this worldwide fight. But is this measure effective all around the world?

It’s time for active action!

In the previous articles, we got to know a bit about Myrthe, Milla, Sybrand, Frank and Lisa. In short, we called them Aruba Team. A group of 5 students from Windesheim Honours College (WHC) who went to Aruba to do research on the single-use Plastic ban in Aruba. They had been staying there for more than 2 months and what have they done so far?
